General Manager, VP - Canada and APAC, Cogeco Peer 1
A transformational leader with a proven track record for successful turnarounds and accelerating growth, Jaime Leverton has served as the driving force behind the operational re-imagining of some of Canada’s most important technology companies. As the Vice President and General Manager of Canada and APAC for Cogeco Peer 1, Jaime is responsible for overseeing sales, customer management, and the delivery of the full suite of ICT solutions to medium and enterprise customers. Since joining the company in May of 2017, she has been leading the team that is reshaping Cogeco Peer 1 into a nimble, high growth organization capable of disrupting the hotly contested co-location, managed hosting, and cloud services space. Throughout a career spanning more than 17 years, Jaime has served in a series of increasingly senior executive roles with National Bank, BlackBerry, Bell Canada, and IBM Canada. It was during her time at Bell that Jaime earned a reputation as a turnaround expert, and at IBM she was responsible for pushing the technology company boldly into new markets that helped drive growth and expand opportunities. While at Blackberry, she led the sales team responsible for BlackBerry’s relationship with its carrier and distribution partners across the Americas, accounting for roughly 30% of the company’s overall corporate revenue. Throughout her career, Jaime has played a key role in helping to shape the redemption and ascendency stories of some of the biggest players in the technology industry. Jaime has a Master’s of Business Administration, Marketing Informatics from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Arts, Psychology and Political Science from the University of Ottawa. Jaime sits on the board of Horizons for Youth and Merry Go Round Kids. An avid runner and reader, Jaime lives in Toronto with her husband and their two daughters.
