Director of Digital Transformation - Data Center Operations, Schneider Electric
Dawn Fitzgerald is the Director of Digital Transformation for Schneider Electric’s Data Center Operations group. In this role she is leading the R&D effort on the integration of Enterprise Asset Management, Data Center Infrastructure Management and AI technologies into a Digitization Value platform for Critical Facilities Environments. Dawn’s career has included leadership positions in both large companies (IBM, Motorola, Schneider-Electric) and over a decade of high tech startups. Dawn co-founded and was VP of Engineering for a chip company designing DSPs for image processing and a Spring Board Women Entrepreneur startup funding recipient. She has held executive roles with multiple Angel and VC backed startup companies in various industries including medical devices, software applications, sustainable products, robotics and consumer devices. Dawn’s areas of expertise include product development, operations, IT, information security, AI and digital transformation strategy. Dawn is a recipient of the Mass High Tech “Women to Watch in Science and Technology’ award. Dawn is an RPI ’87 ECSE BS graduate and an MIT ’94 MS EE and Sloan MBA graduate. Since graduation she has been a mentor for MIT’s Venture Mentor Services, a MIT Start Six Entrepreneurship mentor and is currently a mentor for the MIT Operations Lab. Dawn is also currently on both the Rensselaer New England Network Executive Council and the Rensselaer School of Engineering Leadership Council. Outside of work, Dawn enjoys spending time with her family, exercise, history, architecture, theater, travel and music.
