Barb Mitchell is the Vice President, Canadian Market and Account Strategy for JSA, the preeminent marketing, public relations, and event planning firm serving the technology and telecommunications industries. Barb has experience working for various Canadian telecom companies and currently manages a range of global telecom, technology, and data centre clients for JSA, in addition to heading up JSA’s Canadian Division. Prior to entering telecom, Barb gained extensive experience launching and managing both regional and national brands from a broad marketing perspective for companies such as Coca-Cola, Constellation Brands and Heineken Inc. She has overseen national marketing departments, managed complex business partnerships, launched and managed both national and regional brands, all while staying focused on the overall business objectives. Barb holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Communications from the University of Calgary and a Masters in Professional Communications.
