De Nederlandsche Bank Outsources Data Center Mgmt to Centric

AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS — De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) has reportedly decided to close some of its data centers and outsource its data center management to software solutions company Centric. DNB now will relocate the data center located within ist head office in Westeinde, Amsterdam, onto a private cloud service at owned by Centric. While the details of the four-year outsourcing contract, such as cost and location, have not been revealed, Centric will provide De Nederlandsche Bank with workplace services, as well as service desk and office automation.

The cooperation with Centric offers us the scale to continue our commitment to a stable financial system.”
