Sponsorship and Exhibitor Sales Director

The sponsorship and exhibitor sales director is responsible for raising funds through the sale of sponsorship and exhibit packages for conferences by targeting various companies, organizations
and associations using existing CAPRE databases and extensive industry research.

The candidate will be able to complete the following tasks:

  • Utilize telephone solicitation, electronic and written correspondence and face-to-face meetings as tools in order to reach and exceed the budgeted sponsorship target for each
    conference Research and develop a list of potential sponsors for each conference
  • Research and develop a list of potential exhibitors for each conference
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential sponsorship clients and exhibitors
  • Keep precise records of conversations with all clients, sponsors and exhibitors
  • Update the company Salesforce and Dropbox Business files as required
  • Create and send sponsorship agreements
  • Maintain knowledge of conference timelines and sponsorship deadlines

Director of Conference Research & Production for CAPRE International Data Center Series

CAPRE organizes the International Data Center Series, with more than 25 programs in the U.S, Canada and Western Europe, and seeks a qualified conference research/production director. Note, this is not a sales position, nor is it a coordinator role.

We seek an intelligent, self-motivated, inspiring individual to take on this important company role.

The candidate will be able to complete the following tasks:

  • Conceptualize, research and write conference agendas
  • Quickly understand and grasp industry subject matter, new trends and topics
  • Ability to communicate effectively and conduct market research interviews with high-level investors, developers, engineers and data center end-users
  • Ability to take control of conference agenda to create the best possible product
  • Arrange and conduct all pre-event conference calls with panelists
  • Continue dialogue with industry experts through duration of the year
  • Ability to understand and manipulate social media tools: LinkedIn, Twitter.
  • Ability to write strong and meaningful conference agenda that include panel title and description points
  • Work in tandem with CAPRE journalists and writers who cover the conferences and industry at large
