Check out the latest in deals, new development and innovative strategies in hyperscale, colocation, 5G, cloud migration, cloud services, edge compute, Hybrid IT, power, cooling and energy efficiency for February 10, 2020: NTT to Expand U.S. Data Center Footprint to Hillsboro, OR: NTT has announced that its Global Data Centers division in the Americas will build a new Pacific Northwest data center campus on a 47-acre property in Hillsboro, Oregon. This campus will be a key strategic addition to NTT Ltd.’s global data center portfolio, which operates the third-largest data center platform in the world, with over 160 data centers spanning more than 20 countries and regions. The Global Data Centers division in the Americas (formerly known as RagingWire Data Centers) is planning on offering a total of 144 megawatts of critical IT load on the new Hillsboro campus. There will be five buildings with a total of 1 million sq. ft. of space. The first six megawatts of critical IT load will be available in mid-2020. Flexential Closes $250 Million Debt Offering in Support of Its Continued Strategic Growth: Flexential has announced that its parent, Flexential Intermediate Corporation, issued $250 million of Senior Secured Notes due 2024.
