Check out the latest in deals, development and disruptive technology in the data center space for January 18, 2018: STACK Announces Dallas Data Center Campus: STACK Infrastructure and Hillwood, one of the nation's leading real estate companies, will co-develop a data center campus at AllianceTexas, a 26,000-acre master-planned, mixed-use project developed by Hillwood, located in north Fort Worth with 45 million square feet of development and over $9 billion in private investment to-date. AllianceTexas is home to five data centers including Facebook’s fifth global data center campus and four other FORTUNE 500 users. Over 400 acres are dedicated specifically for data centers, with critical infrastructure in place to ensure uninterrupted power, telecommunications, and operations for customized hyperscale facilities. At full build-out, the data center campus is capable of delivering 400+ megawatts of dedicated critical power, replicating the current capacity of the entire Dallas/Fort Worth market.  NTT to Expand Key Data Centers: NTT Communications Corporation will expand the interconnection of its Nexcenter data centers in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan to enable client companies to connect with cloud and content services more flexibly than ever before. On a sequential basis from this month, NTT Com will begin directly connecting its ecosystem with three major internet exchanges (IXs) in Japan to enable clients to access services offered by these IXs and various NTT Com partner companies.
