NEW YORK, NY -- This week CAPRE invited five mission critical movers and shakers to participate in an in-depth virtual roundtable about the future of digital infrastructure in a post-pandemic world. Specifically, the session honed in on verticals such as Hyperscale and the Edge, with an eye toward demand drivers. The session showcased the perspective of major players such as Tierpoint, Cowen & Company, Mintz Levin, Digital Realty and KKR. The webinar kicked off with moderator Brian Klebash, Founder & CEO of CAPRE asking the panelists to provide a brief glimpse into their team's strategies as the industry begins to imagine a post-pandemic world. Justin Reitz, Regional Manager for Data Center Operations at Digital Realty was first to offer such a take. He specifically mused on the greatest challenges on his team's radar, especially in light of the recent obstacles that have been presented to mission critical organizations. "The data center industry is facing a lot of challenges that we must meet head on. We're by definition a mission critical organization. We strongly encourage customers to hold off on non-essential work, but the fact remains that everything can be tagged as "critical" in an industry," he surmised. "So customer experience and maintenance have been vital to our day-to-day operations. But our number one concern is the health and well-being of our team and customers.
